Specialty Asian Unit

Nurturing the diversity of our employees, patients and residents is important to us. We are pleased of offer Jade Villa, our specialty Asian Unit. Dr. Simon Ho, graduate of Tufts Medical School, is our Asian Medical Director and is in charge of Jade Villa. He is assisted by Jun Tan, Asian Program Director.

We employ a full-time chef from Hong Kong, to prepare fresh, authentic Asian entrees daily, full-time bilingual staff (Cantonese, Mandarin and Taishanese), and offer translated comprehensive communication booklets. Jade Villa has satellite television, with direct programming from Hong Kong. We celebrate traditional holidays, provide cultural entertainment, and all physicians and hospice services are provided by individuals who are familiar with specific cultural needs.
